What is CCF ALIVE?
MISSION:
CCF ALIVE exists to be a safe, certain, and consistent place for young adults to grow into Christlikeness by cultivating a transformative and God-centered community.
VISION:
Our vision is for young adults to come alive as we engage with God, one another, and the world around us.
CCF ALIVE is something on God’s heart and our hearts. We want to gather the 18-30-year-olds to look to God in worship, build community, notice the world around us, ask questions, laugh and cry together, dive into the word of God, and remember our Creator in the days of our youth. Join us on TUESDAYS at 7PM!
CCF’s general vision is Reaching Up, Reaching In, and Reaching Out. In line with that, CCF ALIVE has three key elements: Worship & Word – Community – Beyond.
We will acknowledge our Creator, enjoy community, and celebrate life together.
Our Redeemer, our Creator is alive. We will look up to the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Our highest priority will be to remember, acknowledge, and adore our Creator as the beginning and the end of it all. God and His presence are not just some distant concept, but they are real and alive to us.We will engage with God in worship, expressing our love and devotion to Him. Extended times of musical worship will mark our gatherings. Additionally, CCF ALIVE loves God’s word and its life-changing power. Discipleship and growth are vital. We want to learn how to apply the Creator’s beauty, truth, and principles in our stage of life.

COMMUNITY
We want to build a loving community, not just a sustainable program. We want to try to figure out life together. Even when we can’t answer the questions we have, community can help keep our eyes on the things that matter and help us go on. Connectedness in the body of Christ is the key to transformed living. We’ll have plenty of times of hanging out, processing with one another, praying for one another, and just relaxing within the security of community. We want to encourage one another, grow together in grace and maturity, find joy in midst of chaos, be victorious over sin, and discover our identities.

BEYOND
CCF ALIVE is a place to celebrate each other’s gifts and abilities (1 Corinthians 14:26). We want to use these to serve one another and beyond. CCF ALIVE will seek to partner with this great God in “discipling all nations”. We’ll keep our eyes open beyond CCF ALIVE, pray for our cities and nations, beware of what God is doing, and engage in the beauty and power of self-sacrifice. We want to be like Jesus and not succumb to the temptations of entitlement. We don’t look out only for our own interests, but we take an interest in others as well (Philippians 2:4).
